What are the legal technicalities of salvation? How is one man graced with everlasting life and another condemned to burn with the devil and his angels? These questions were answered this week.
The legal, court-room arguments to vindicated those who pass the judgment and differentiate between those who fail is explained by an extensive enactment of the court-room debate between Christ and Satan. Christ argues that the Sin Offering must legitimately cover the sins of the redeemed to remove their sins of ignorance and the Burnt Offering their premeditated sins. This because they believed on Jesus, the Sin Offering, and Jerusalem, the Burnt Offering. In disharmony to their faith, the agents of hell, including the fallen angles who formerly worked in heaven must be rejected because they resisted the truth of Jesus and Jerusalem —indeed, they ardently persecuted them both. Thereby, if they desire salvation from hell, they must make good on their own contrary claims and exculpate themselves from divine punishment.
The debate is riveting, and all are urged to revisit it in the document, Atonement and Amazingly Sufficient Grace. Short of that, join us again two weeks from today to learn more.
