This week we ventured from page 55 to page 67.  These pages still focus on the coded symbolism of the 6th seal beginning in Revelation 6: 12.  So thick with hidden themes of deep meaning that each figurative depiction demands an arduous theological chew to interpret.  For example, one symbolism required a back referenced to Jesus’ parable of the fig tree, the tree that He Himself cursed —and more than that— He promise the same for His disciples today. The book gave Bible evidence that the fig tree prefigures the pinnacle of the Christian gentile church, Adventism.  This fact we can know for certainty because the Hebrew church of yesterday is defined —not as a fig tree but— as an olive tree.

More was discussed about the blackening of the sun and about the moon becoming as blood. The hidden message here defines the apostacy of Christianity in the last day: It is a prophetic purveyance which manifest that the Bible as our sun, our shining light, ought to be man’s primary source of doctrine.  Instead, it is depicted as becoming blackened, metaphorically showing that ministers of the Gospel subordinate its light under their own unsubstantiated and traditional doctrines.  Also, and in harmony and in furtherance of this interpretation, we are shown that the Spirit of Prophecy has been unwisely elevated above the Bible.  Its ordained purpose was to become the Bible reflector; ergo, it is depicted as the proverbial moon.  When such teachings are exalted above the Bible, that is when we make the moon to be the vehicle of man’s salvation, his primary source of light, making our work to be at cross purposes with heaven.  In so doing, we elevated the moon above the sun, the light reflector above the light projector. It, the moon then becomes our blood —it becomes our blood— or the cleansing function that should be vested only in Christ, not in His historic subordinate agents of truth, His light reflectors.  Linked in harmony to that lesson is the falling of the stars of heaven: This symbolizes the blatant disrespect for Bible authors, prophets, kings, patriarchs, et al.

All is neatly summarized by the next section to be investigated, the rolling together of the scrolls, the closing of the Bible by the evil men who now control the churches.  More synopsis is given in the attached Eight-minute link, https://youtu.be/_dXLIC4Wjgg?si=iEeb-OwYNdb7h_Nq.

I do hope that you will join us for more on these themes.

Derek
