John 16: 13

And more than that, according to Father’s Testimony, the Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself. It says, 13 … when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” —John 16: 13. The Spirit then, by God’s command, is to be our only source of doctrine. Ergo, for a doctrine about His identity, Ѫto be added to our faith, it must be revealed to us by Him. This parameter of theology creates a problem: Because He speaks not of Himself we cannot forge a doctrine about Him. Historic Adventists ignore this fact.
