2Sam 7: 11-13

 

Excerpt:…The Lord promised ancient David that it is the mission of this David to build a house for the name of the Lord. Thus, he aka Shiloh, and only he, reveals Christ’s identity, His similitude, that the people may be gathered in the house of the Lord. Such is the removal of the vision-blocking beam. It says, “2Sam 7: 11-13Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house. 12And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.” —2Sam 7: 11-13. Herein lies the problem, Adventists, David’s target audience, reject the name of the Lord: They, against Bible definition, teach that Christ is Jesus and God. Such is the Catholic definition of Christ: by refusing this light, they refuse the Lord’s elevation to higher ground. They, against the prescript of the Law, taketh His name in vain…
