 ….Added to this complexity is the fact that the title Lord of Hosts is transferred to Jesus, in the New Testament Age. After Calvary it was imputed from Christ to Jesus; however, in the OT, it exclusively belonged to Christ, God’s eternal Son who created the earth. Only Israel then was the host of His Lordship —over no other people did He preside. In fact, He said that this is His name —ergo His identity— forever, and I quote, “ 15 And God said … unto Moses … say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” —Ex 3: 15. In no other historical age are any other people included under that umbrella. None, not even Abraham’s Father, his homeland brethren —no not even Abraham’s most trusted, circumcised servant, as shown in the last study….
