Gen 31: 26-28

Excerpt:…But microscopic transcendency still abounds: And more than that, the shining light of earth, regardless of appearance, must come from the heritage of David. Man still dare sing the Battle hymn of the Republic; his perversity is to see God’s face. This even though man’s ministry is devoid of God’s dominion protocol. In ignorance he shuns the need to behold the true glory of creation’s design: the likeness and image of God in man. If Jacob was promised to have power with God and with man, then should not we dream of the blossom of his son, the son of man? We should for Father commanded as much! And of it we have been given a clue, the sun rose on Jacob after he fled his father-in-law like a thief in the night. See, Gen 31: 26 To this object lesson, Father commanded in, Matt 24: 42-47 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if (Jesus) the goodman of the house had known in what watch (Jacob) the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Why was Jacob called a thief? Because from Laban, he stole away his daughters and children. Of this, it says, “ Gen 31: 25 Then Laban overtook Jacob…And …said to Jacob, What hast thou done, that thou hast stolen away unawares to me, and carried away my daughters, as captives taken with the sword? 27 Wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp? 28 And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? …” —Gen 31: 26-28. In this light we can continue with Father’s commission of us in this, the last day…
