
Heb 4: 7-10
Excerpt:…Ater a six-day work week, a day for a thousand years. Paul, who is the only Apostle to gentile Equestrian theology, called it Rest in David. He said, “4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief. Again he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time … To day if ye will hear Ѫ*HIS* voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into ѪHIS REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into Ѫ*THAT REST (aka David’s rest)*, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” —Heb 4: 7-10. Why then was the claim of Millerite-Adventists rest so shocking to the Holy Spirit as if it had divine credibility? Why!!?, because they were gentiles with authority, a novel constituency: gentiles appointed by Jesus. The Spirit’s shock then came because to Him it seemed that heaven ordained no others to rise and rescue Jerusalem; The Lord’s people that were, in 1844, still yoked in America’s shackles: no other advocacy for Hebrew rejuvenation was then elected…
