Isa 26: 7-9
Excerpt:…Zechariah then is a type of David, and, venturing deeper into Isaiah 26, it reveals his victory: I quote: “ 8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. 9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” —Isa 26: 7-9. It seems, everyday disasters are shown in the earth: These are the Lord’s judgments, unanticipated until now. The daytime is when, by the gift of prophecy, the Angel of the Lord explains the meaning of the lowland dwelling evangelism of Zechariah’s visionary horses. It is the time when the world will learn righteousness. Why cannot this prophecy pertain to your ministry? The answer is now simple: Your soul has not desired His name through the long dark night of equine evangelism. How can I be sure? You, refusing Calculus differentiation, insist on confusing Jesus’ identity with that of Christ. More than that, for the express purpose of upholding your reputation, you ignore all evidence. This you do at the expense of Christ’s credibility, His good name. You deny the evidence that He was the Dove Who invisibly hid-upon-and-spoke-through Jesus. Many still mock the Millerites despite the fact that the Holy Spirit has stood with them in the lowland-dwellings of their evangelism: their delusions of Sabbath rest. And now a new voice, David declares: “with my spirit within me will I seek thee early.” Take pause to think, this message in no way affirms the pagan teaching that a ghost dwells in man. It could not be for after he said, “with My soul have I desired thee in the night,” he adds a consecutive or subsequent prediction, a future-tense modifier by saying “with my spirit within me will I, will I, WILL I seek thee early” putting the Spirit in contrast to the soul. It expresses a relief that satisfies the long night whereby his soul anguished to uplift Christ’s name…
