Quote, “ 3 Thou art my servant, O (Jacob or) Israel, in whom I will be glorified … 5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant … Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. 6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant … to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles…” —Isa 49: 5-6.Speaking to antitypical Jacob, He promises him a light. And guess what, Jacob was a thief which means that he too was a plagiarist! Why, because men would otherwise bury their God-given talents in the earth, and Jacob’s mission was to repossess those earth-tarnished assets, restore their luster, and build the Lord’s house of salvation. God gave all humanity a chance to participate in Jacob’s redemption, but their repudiation of the Lord’s wind, His Spirit, stunted their kingdom growth: like Zacchaeus, they are wee little men…
