John 10: 31-33

 

Excerpt:We rejoice then in His claim, “…all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day”. Now comes the consternation of our vanity: The greatest gift to be resurrected today is the fact that:  Father gifted to Christ His very word, His Will and Testament.So we face the conundrum: In spite of the miracles, the world hated His word. For by it was Jesus crucified. Validation of this animus is proven by, “ John 10: 11-33 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” John 10: 31-33 .Note, the good works were from —not Himself but— His Father. Therefore, to see His glory we must anticipate a revisit of His good works or His handy work. But now you see the human dilemma: The works come with the Words. So how can we cure the resultant murderous rage against His words, overcoming it is vital for He said His words are spirit and are life (John 6: 63, see screen)?...
