John 4: 34-38
Excerpt:…The sixth thousand year when Christ finishes His work preparatory to that day, reveals the reason that He, Christ came down from Heaven at Father’s behest: That He may raise the son in the last day. Listen to the following Text and hear with unclogged ears: He said, “ 34 My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and `another´ reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.” —John 4: 34-38. This means that His disciples entered —not into a novel assignment but— a work in progress; Thus, contrary to presumption, they continued the mission of the Old testament. This further proves that the gospel work was a six-day-Sabbath week before man could find his rest. Accordingly, as shown in John four, Christ refused the market meat that His disciples offered to Him. His refreshing would not come until the harvest, the time when His son, a separate personality, becomes His partner who is the reaper of the grain which Christ had sown. Matt 13, now descending on your screen, shows Christ to be the Sower, but all who love Christ —the test of which is belief´ in His word— will extoll the one who is to be His rejoice, aka, the promised reaper…
