
Mic 5: 2-4
Excerpt:…They will never behold the majesty of the Lord because His majesty is vested in the son of David, a man who is proven to blossom from the men of their humiliation, oppression and scorn. Micah five says as much, “ 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah … out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel …. 3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. 4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty —in the what?— in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God.” —Mic 5: 2-4. Remarkable affirmation, Bethlehem Ephratah or Jesse, is to have a future son in the time today when she which travaileth brings forth, or the day when the deliverer comes out of Zion for then it says that the remnant shall return unto the children of Israel. At that time, he, the deliverer feeds in the majesty of the name of the Lord. Thus, it is evident brethren, that this expression makes reference to that which —not the righteous but— the wicked defined in Isaiah 26 refuse to behold: the majesty of the Lord. In other words, they will never acknowledge David, the promised descendant of Jesse or Bethlehem Ephratah…
