Zech 1: 12-13

Excerpt:…Zechariah shows that He and Jesus speak to each other; thus, to suggest that they are the same person infers upon God, mental derangement. So we ask, Why do Historic Adventists teach that Jesus, Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one and the same personality —even in the face of contradictory Bible evidence? They do so to preclude more 1844-styled embarrassment. Rather than guarding God’s reputation, they make Him —not themselves— to appear deranged. Zech 1 begins to say, “12 Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem … which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years? 13 And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.” —Zech 1: 12-13.
