Title: Everlasting Gospel Refinement
The Three Angels’ Message series of our Sabbath School classes has nearly come to its close. Before transiting to the next topic of weekly study, two more audio studies remain in this series. In the meantime, this blog seeks to amplify its light even more. Regarding the current series, the historic timing requires more elaboration. This is needed because the Three Angels’ Messages, which by shorthand I refer to as 3AM, has been the marquee and exclusive doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church; so great care must be exerted to guard its value. Since 1844 they have accentuated its application to Christianity, but only today has the doctrinal symbolism of that Revelation-chapter-14 theme come into clear focus. With emphasis on the First Angel’s Message, it reads as follows:
“6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” —Rev 14: 6-7.
This angelic declaration is attributable to an entity called the First Angel because two other symbolic angelic broadcasters follow sequentially, and the Bible calls the last one the Third Angel —making the angel described in verse six to be the first of the three. It gives a clear mission statement: The three angels institute the final standards of —not just the Gospel but— that which is carefully defined therein as the “everlasting gospel”. The Mustard Seed gives special focus on the adjective “everlasting” to amplify a keystone message: that, as soon as the Creator is differentiated from God, then the former —called the creator who is Christ— is to be glorified; while, at the same time, the latter, Father, is to be feared. Father must be feared because He controls the distribution of mercy (see the latest video, 54.3 for affirmation). When this aspect is inserted into the Gospel, then the doctrine is mature and complete. Having become complete, it can then be declared to every nation and to all who dwell on earth. This has been the missing component of nominal Adventist theology. As such, her zeal to promote evangelism has been frustrated. The good news is that, after 182 years, the mission can now be fully executed and articulated by all the faithful of that delayed commission. More of this will be explained below. First, I ask, “Why the span of frustration and delay; why has it taken 182 years? Such was the time lapse required to convince Sabbath-keeping Christians, aka, Adventists, to divorce themselves from Constantinian Christology. Until that divorce, they could not distinguish between Jesus, Christ, and Father leaving them all to be unglorified. Afterall, we cannot fear God, neither can we give glory to Christ, if we errantly presume them to be one and the same individual. Therefore, the rock of Adventist faith is only now made biblical by the MSC’s advanced teachings.
This fact introduces an added pre-stipulation, one that installs all the words declared by Christ into the Gospel. Let’s make it more specific: His words that were uttered during the three-and-one-half years of ministry when Christ hid His presence on Jesus as He walked among the people 2000-years ago. The following Text explains why the Gospel cannot become everlasting —my chosen adjective of emphasis— until this registration:
“ 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” —Matt 7:24-27
In Matt 28, we have been ordered by Jesus to articulate to the world all that He has commanded us, and the point now resounds: That commission includes this above Matt-seven statement. It is a prophecy which predicts the mayhem heaped upon —not yet all but— His Church, the people who have had the benefit and opportunity to hear all His words by broadcast for they were the exclusive target of his, the wise man’s ministry. It was also projected to come in the day when the storms shall befall them. It will be a declaration which attributes wisdom to a man who builds a house on Christ’s sayings: which again includes this very Text of Matt seven. Subsequently, only now, at the end of the day, can it accurately be said that the advent of the wise man has risen on their Adventist horizon; therefore, only now can the complete Gospel be declared. This theme comes with a historic complexity: It says that Christ, quote, will liken them, close quote, but to do so infers direct audio communication, this in spite His covenant promise to never again speak directly to His Church. The specifics of that Deut 18 covenanted was the promise to soften His voice through a prophetic instrument, a Prophet/prophet like unto Moses. Ergo, with Jesus, having never fulfilled this mission, Christ was evidently referring to the Mustard Seed as the one to build His invincible house. Thusly we can safely conclude that the Lord’s promise to liken such a man to be wise is indeed a promise that that very son of man, the elect himself —not Christ— is to vocalize His, Christ’s own metaphors to identify even his own self to be the ordained wise man. Since all such declarations have already been articulated, then the time is at hand. And since that house survives the storms and the tempest, then it must be everlasting, ergo the everlasting Gospel of Rev 14. The prophecy also has a separate leg that is equally in need of Gospel inclusion.
Men, after hearing this updated emphasis of the Lord’s words —the expression, after hearing, means that, in the day of its expressed articulation by the house-building wise man— are those who choose to ignore his reminiscent message that extols Christ’s words. Prophecy then foretells a new doctrinal declaration: One that, through the surrogate wise voice, shall condemn those detractors as fools. For remember, the prophecy includes the plight of those who honor and the plight of those who disregard His, Christ’s sayings. Both plights are given by use of a prophetic voice. To fully understand, it must be broken down even further. With regard to the man who keeps the sayings and also the ones who do not, both are to be, quote, likened, close quote: the former likened as a wise man and the latter as a fool. In advanced linguistic arts —a theme of which Christ is a master, being the Word of God— to liken is to conjure a metaphor. More specifically, it is called a simile. Merriam Webster gives the following definition:
SIMILE:
1) Figure of speech that compares two unlike things and often using like or as;
2) a comparison by use of a metaphor.
The Mustard Seeds’ written, audio, and video teachings are replete with such metaphors. This is not so in historic Adventist literature. They have not deployed such similes for at least two reasons:
1) Such, in the case of identifying the wise, was then deemed to be sacrilegious, and in the case of the fools, such a rebuke was deemed to be unkind and judgmental. And they all being intoxicated with their milk doctrines of preliminary spiritual growth, were forbidden to teach by such negative invectives; ergo their house was not yet erected on the Rock.
2) Also, they have never honored Christ as the separate and distinct personality who is a different personality from Father, Jesus, and the Comforter. Thus, they then had no theological acuity or capacity to honor Christ’s sayings.
Therefore, having only now differentiated, we can teach men to observe all things; only now can we declare the everlasting Gospel.
Yet, Prophecy must be fulfilled: Christ promised to liken all who hear His word and ignore them to eventually become condemned by His servant to be fools. This fact does not infer that the Bible is self-contradictory; instead, it alone proves a developmental growth in judgment theology. Today, mature men can, with eyes wide open, choose Solomonic Christology from the lips of wise men, and they, as the case so indicates, can use their inspiration as the Lord’s voice to condemn as fools the Sabbath-keeping men who are antagonistic to the Lord’s sayings: and do so by use of divine simile or metaphor. God’s honor in this finding is furthermore uplifted by the Mustard Seed, because He, Father, gave affirming commission for Jesus to honor this man of wisdom by declaring that, ‘the Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of Mustard Seed, the greatest of all trees.’ (see Matt 13: 31). If such seems to be anti-thematic and/or harsh, then the choice is easy: stop ignoring the sayings of the Lord for “everyone that heareth these sayings of (His) and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man…”
Our cause to celebrate is included in the fact that both the wise and the fools undergo the same storm but that only the wise survive that trauma. And since we have the prophetic metaphors already (again see latest YouTube, 54.3), then if we are not now in that very prophetic storm, it must be at the door. I can’t speak for you, but I hear the rain descending, and I see the floods arriving. In fact, the winds of opposition have been pelting this house throughout its ministry.
The beginning of this Matt-Seven prophecy gives greater clarification. It reveals the proper time perspective to gauge doctrinal value: It compares the span of fulfillment to the maturation of a tree, a long-time span for humans. It reads as follows:
“17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock …” —Matt 7: 17-24
I say the time of this fruition is now! Such is evident since only in the end of tree development can the fruit become made evident. This judgment then comes —not at the beginning of the tree’s growth, but —at the end in the day of Church maturation. And since the clear metaphoric declarations have been issued, the very expression that define the wise from the fools have been declared, and since the wise completely honor the Lord’s words, then we can cement our resolution: The Lord has kept His word to liken those who honor it as the wise and those who ignore it as the fools. Remarkably, this analysis is stitched into the fabric of the everlasting Gospel to be declared by the Three Angels’ Message. Again, I say stitched in because Jesus command us to teach men to observe all things that He has uttered. Yesterday, in the time of the various growth spans of the trees, the debate hotly raged: The root with Abraham, the trunk with Israel, the branches with the disciples, and the leaves with the early Adventists. But many of hell’s recriminations have been left unanswered because yesterday was not the season of fruit production, the 144,000. Thusly and only has the Mustard Seed been able to identify the first fruits, the 144,000. And, to boot, their sealing is also inculcated in the 3AM of Revelation 14. Of them Paul declared:
“ 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches… 21Be not highminded, but fear … 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins …” —Rom 11:13-27.
Salvation exposes the virtue of the fruit, and since, until now, none of Israel has been rescued, then their preferential virtue to heaven evidently still remains a mystery to all but God. For they are the first fruits of harvest. This is especially so since only the Mustard Seed, the first in the history of the universe to have identified the 144,000 (note this self-uplifted expression: Is it not exactly as prophesied as the likening of him to a wise man?). And since the first fruit is pronounced holy, then any gentile church that has esteemed themselves racially superior and preferred over them have certified Paul’s very indictment of such gentiles: He calls them “highminded” saints who are wise in their own conceit. Therefore, only by grafting themselves into the tree of Abraham, can they be relegated as “good fruit”. Also, I remind you that Revelation stipulates that every nation must be evangelized by the 3AM, and that includes the entire diaspora of the Hebrew people as well as the gentiles; thusly, at the risk of redundancy, this is an aspect of the everlasting Gospel. Also, since Abraham is the root and Israel is the trunk, and since the gentiles were grafted in, then this could only describe the house that the wise man shall build upon the Rock of Christ. Just as He promised to ancient David, and remember, those promises have been retrofitted into the Gospel by Luke 24: 44: They are part of His word that the wise deem shall not be ignored. He said,
“10 Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime, 11 … Also The LORD telleth thee … 12 … I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his Kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever … 16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: Thy throne shall be established for ever.” —2Sam 7:10-16
This house then that David shall build, in other words, this collection of unified saints under his authority, aka, under his roof, could be none other than the storm-invincible house that the Lord promised that the wise man would build. We have asked incessantly these past 182 years why has this victory taken so long…what has forestalled the promise of the 3AM? It must have been the Church’s historic ignorance of David’s ordination and the definition of the144,000, the fruit of his tree. In other words, the Gospel has been resisted by fools who have warred against the Lord’s word. This has been forestalled because only today have men mastered the Gospel so as to include this dimension of the wise man’s storm-invincible house that is founded upon Christ, the Rock.
The gentile church, based upon that which Paul called conceit, has heard these words and has determined to war against them. Why, because they refuse to honor the Lord’s voice as declared through His Vicegerent. This battle of wills now rages in the religious world, and the fools have taken to themselves the strategy to remove the cords that band us to Christ; in other words, they have sought to discredit the Testimony of Jesus, the band and/or cord that now fastens us to Christ. David gave this very prophetic account to define the finishment of the Gospel. He said,
“ 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” —Ps 2: 2-8
The Lord, it says, shall speak to them in His wrath. But need I remind you, His covenant mandates that He, Christ, would never again speak to His church by the use of His very own audible voice. David, in this text expresses himself as the resolution to that conundrum: He declares his son to be the elected spokesman for Christ. The Lord likened —not Solomon but— David’s quintessential son, the Mustard Seed to a wise man by appointing him to be the Lord’s voice; ergo, he likens himself to be the housebuilding wise man for Christ. Thus does David affirm this transaction by saying, “…then shall he speak unto them in his wrath…I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance…” The heathen includes the people from every nation defined under the ultimate domain given to Adventism by the 3AM. Therefore, only by the installation of this caveat can the everlasting Gospel be delivered in clarity by Adventism to every nation.
There is more good news: we can look forward to having the early Adventists unite with us in this mission. They may soon do so after they come forth in the Special Resurrection of Rev 14. Then, time will afford their opportunity to learn and then champion this Gospel with us, that they may complete the 3AM Gospel commission.
